Literacy reflection

 This week we have been doing focusing of strong paragraphs.We had to paragraphs in 4 sections 1st section is the blue is the first idea and the concluding sentence.The red color is the second part the story red means what can you feel, taste, see, smell, touch and what happened. After for the last bit of the story is blue for the end of the story, a concluding sentence. My previous blogs give examples of this. 

Maths.

Yesterday my math group did some quick 10 just to remember what we have been doing from our last session. For our math we did 9 times tables,decimal,place value and some more advanced basic facts. After the quick ten we move on to sum dog which is a math game.

Nogo showed us the trick for the 9 times table.

e.g. 9 x 5 =

You subtract 5-1   which equals 4 then you add up 4 to make 9 which is 5.

9 x 5 = 4+5 

9 x 5 = 45

My weekend: Strong paragraph. Using coded colours.

On Sunday I went to see my mum at rehab. My auntie dropped my sister and I off.

When I got there we weren't allowed to bring anything into the rehab. When we got into the rehab I gave my mum a hug then we started to talk about stuff, like how I am doing and what is school like? 

My little brother was with the other kids, and after we finished talked my mum, sister, brother, auntie, and I went outside to see the goat. The goat belonged to the rehab place, it looked old and it smelt paru. The goat had white fur with large antlers. The goat's name was Garry. When we were watching the goat it broke threw the fence, pushing its way through the wire. The supervisors had to go and chase Garry the goat around the centre, the visit was over. 

Another Sunday visit done. I felt sad as there wasn't enough time.

I gave my mum a hug and then we left. My sister and I got dropped off at my dads house.
